Unearthed Relics – The Story Behind the Vættir Vault

Buried deep in the quiet dark of our little apothecary lies a collection long forgotten.

Vættir Vault began as a whisper, an idea born from Norse folklore, the scent of moss-covered stones and the long-held belief that some things should never be truly laid to rest.

These relics, fragments of bone and rune, are not merely decorative. They are scented remnants of story. They are quiet offerings for memory, for the rituals we invent to honour what’s passed, and the wild magic we feel in our bones when we walk alone in the woods and know we are not alone.

Each box is a curiosity, a shrine in miniature. Some wax relics come marked with runes. Some resemble skeletal remains, partial and unrested. Others suggest items you might find left at the foot of an altar or unearthed in a barrow. Every detail was crafted to feel like a found object: forgotten, remembered, re-offered.

This collection marks the start of a new branch within Little Big Candle Company: one that dwells in the shadows. For the curious collector. For those who sense the veil thinning. For those who still leave offerings beneath the ash tree.

Each box contains an assortment of handmade, soy wax melts. You'll find carefully curated bones, alongside protective Norse runes, packaged in a study cardboard box.
